Forum ‘Looking Towards Our Energy Future’ Nov. 21

FARMINGTON – On Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 a.m. the Western Maine Legislative Caucus will host area legislators and John Kerry, director of Maine’s Office of Energy Independence and Security, at a free public breakfast forum on energy policy at The University of Maine Farmington Olsen Student Center.

Energy costs, resources and distribution will impact the future of western Maine communities and economies. John Kerry will be joined by a panel of area legislators to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the region. The forum will also include exhibits from several organizations working on energy issues in the region.

The Western Maine Legislative Caucus is an annual series of public forums on topics of interest to western Maine. The forum includes a free breakfast and is sponsored by the Western Mountains Alliance, University of Maine at Farmington, Western Maine Community Action, MSAD #9, Mission at the Eastward, Franklin Community Health Network and Greater Franklin Development Corporation.
