Museum founder honored in Rangeley

Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum Board and friends honored Museum founder Rodney C. Richard, Sr. (seated, right), as they surprised him with a new sign for the Museum on July 19th. Mr. Richard thought the twin bears he carved were for Treasurer Harry Simon. Board member Wayne Lessard with his wife, Velma, and Vice President Ron Haines made the planter and the sign. Richard, with a group of Rangeley friends and relatives, founded the Museum 30 years ago. The Museum is open Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 2pm. (Peggy Yocom Photo)
