A Pedal Power Tuesday event is scheduled tonight. Riders interested in participating should meet in front of the Meetinghouse Park gazebo at 7 p.m.

Pedal Powered Tuesdays will occur every Tuesday night in August. Local residents of Farmington and surrounding areas within biking distance are invited to hop on their bicycles and meet at the Meetinghouse Park Gazebo.

A cookout is planned, please watch the youtube link below to find out the route and destination activities. Riding first, then swimming, grilling and a live acoustic concert by the Nectaroons along the beautiful Sandy River, on the edge of Prescott Field (behind the Narrow Gauge Cinema parking lot in Farmington, off Front Street.)

The event is being organized by local community member Jeremy Smith, of Farmington, with help from a few friends. The event is aimed at increasing non-motorized travel in town, it is free and is open to participants of all ages.
