RANGELEY– Saturday the 2nd of July the Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum will hold its Annual Auction, their largest fund-raising event of the year. Auctioneer Steve Richard (VP of RLRLM) is actively seeking business and individual support with donations of items for the Annual Auction. Proceeds from this event are the main source of funds for the museum each year.

The Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum has been working hard the past year adding new trails that connect to Haley Pond and tie in with the Northern Forest Canoe Trail and this year another trail will be completed that will connect to Depot Road. Major improvements have been made to the lighting inside and outside the Museum this year as well. It is your support of events like this Auction that help the Museum continue to grow and offer more amenities to the community.

So, please, if you have some items, merchandise, gift certificates, or services to donate to the RLRLM Auction give us a call! Items can be accepted up until mid-day Friday July 1st. Contact numbers are: Steve at 864-5595, Ron Haines (President) at 864-5551 or leave a message on the answering machine at the museum at 864-3939.

Bidders are welcome to start reviewing the goods at 9 AM on Saturday, July 2nd at the Museum at 221 Stratton Road and the auction starts under the big tent at 10 AM, rain or shine. The RLRLM Auction is always good fun and everyone gets good deals while supporting this iconic local museum. Don’t miss this opportunity to bid on an awesome and varied selection of items and certificates to help the Museum expand its programs and offerings for the region. Start your 4th of July weekend in Rangeley with Auction fun at the Logging Museum. Listen to Rangeley Radio, 90.5 WRGY, for details of auction items as the event date draws near. www.rlrlm.org
