Sen. Collins welcomes intern from Weld

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Susan Collins is pleased to announce that Whitney Stowell, a Weld native, has been awarded a fall internship in her Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee office in Washington, D.C.

“Whitney’s academic profile, background, and strong work ethic will be a great asset to my office,” said Senator Collins. “During Whitney’s internship he will be able to learn the inner dynamics of a congressional office by experiencing it first-hand. I welcome Whitney to my staff.”

Stowell recently graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, in Political Science and Economics. He is the son of Rand and Susan Stowell of Weld.
