RANGELEY – Rangeley Family Medicine’s Dr. Amanda Hepler was recently notified that she has achieved certification with the American Board of Family Medicine.
During her certification process Dr. Hepler satisfactorily completed three years of intensive training at Excela Health, Latrobe, Pennsylvania and successfully completed a one-day, written examination of cognitive knowledge and problem-solving skills. The American Board of Family Medicine, founded in 1969, is the second largest medical specialty board in the United States. The Board’s certification confers a standard of excellence in knowledge and medical practice for participating physicians.
Dr. Hepler has been providing care at Rangeley Family Medicine since August 2008. She practices primary care for all age groups and her specific medical areas of interest include women’s health, joint injections, preventive medicine, and Suturing.
