Michelle Dunlap appointed director of patient financial services at FMH

FARMINGTON – Franklin Community Health Network President Rebecca Ryder is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Dunlap as director of patient financial services.

In her new position Dunlap has management responsibilities relating to patient admissions, patient billing, and collections, and for assuring regulatory compliance in all areas. In addition she is responsible for identifying innovative approaches to enhance staff performance and patient satisfaction.

Dunlap has 23 years experience in patient financial services. Prior to coming to Franklin Community Health Network, she was director of health information management, patient financial services, and patient registration at Inland Hospital in Waterville, Maine. While there her departments consistently earned four to five stars for high standards of patient care by Avatar International Inc., an independent company that measures patient satisfaction and expectations in health care.

Dunlap has also held management positions at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and Sebasticook Valley Hospital, Pittsfield, Maine.

Dunlap resides in Norridgewock, with her husband, Jay, adult daughters, Amanda and Angela and granddaughter, Kylie 16 months. During her free time she enjoys the ocean, camping, swimming, sewing, electronic dart games, and spending time with her family.
