New physician to join Franklin Health Women’s Care

FARMINGTON – Franklin Health Woman’s Care is pleased to announce that Dr. Tara Aumand will join its practice on August 18. Other providers include Connie Adler, MD; Jacques Belair, MD; Susan Eastler, WHCNP; Daisy Goodman, CNM, WHNP; Susan Kearing, DO; Jay Naliboff, MD; Susan Tinguely, FNP; and Thomas Weigle, MD.

Dr. Aumand recently completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. During her residency, she was a featured presenter at a number of lecture series, addressing topics such as colposcopy, post-partum spinal headaches, management of severe preeclampsia and eclampsia, physician ethics, and more.

Dr. Aumand, who is a native of Vermont, received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies in 2004. Prior to that she completed an obstetrics and gynecology internship at Robert Wood Johnson University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

“We are very excited to have Dr. Aumand join our medical staff and be part of our superb team of physicians providing care for women in the office and hospital, particularly as we move into our new offices in the Medical Arts Center,” said Leslie Hawkins, Administrator for Franklin Health Medical Practices.

Franklin Health Women’s Care offers a full-range of women’s health services at its new offices on the first floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center, next to Franklin Memorial Hospital. Obstetrical services are also provided at Franklin Memorial Hospital Outpatient Services in Livermore Falls located in the Central Plaza at 76 Main Street.
