Parent education class offered: Parenting the challenging child

FARMINGTON – The Evergreen Child Development Center invites you to “Parenting the Challenging Child,” a parent education session with clinical social worker Paula Lumb. The class will cover topics such as managing difficult behavior, motivational strategies, tips on teaching your child about choices and decision making, and more.

The class will take place on Wednesday, May 6, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Evergreen Child Development Center located in the upper level of the Mt. Blue Health Center on the Franklin Memorial Hospital campus. The class is free but a $5 donation is greatly appreciated. Light refreshments will be served.

Paula Lumb, LCSW, brings over 25 years of professional and personal experience working with children and families in a variety of home and clinical settings. Paula is a member of the Evergreen Child Development Center team along with Dr. Iris Silverstein and coordinator/resource specialist Sandy Richard, RN.
