Beryl Pitcher Hoyt (1928-2009)

FARMINGTON – Beryl Pitcher Hoyt, 80, of Maple Ave., Farmington, died peacefully in her sleep, at her home on Monday morning, Jan. 5, 2009.

She was born Jan. 29, 1928, in Corrinna, the daughter of Charles F. and Helen (Fraser) Pitcher. She was a 1949 graduate of Farmington State Teacher’s College and continued her education by obtaining her real estate broker’s license. On June 17, 1950, she married Dana Hoyt in Corrinna.

She leaves her husband of 58 years, Dana, of Farmington; their daughters: Nichola D. Taylor of Warren and Candace H. White of Rockport, Mass.; grandchildren Matthew Page and his wife, Elisabeth of San Francisco, CA.; Patterson White and his wife, Sarah of Framingham, MA. and Samantha D. Page of Los Angeles, CA. a sister-in-law, Evelyn Pitcher of the Corinna area and nieces and nephews.

Public memorial services will be held Saturday afternoon, Jan. 10, 2008 at 4 p.m., from the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., (Rtes. 2 & 27), Farmington, with Rev. Terry McKinley officiating. Following services, all are welcome to attend an informal reception at the Center.
