FARMINGTON – Glenn Albert Richard, 60, of Farmington, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at his home in Farmington, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Feb. 5, 1948 in Lewiston, the son of Albert W. and Gloria Elaine (Douglass) Richard. He attended Glen Cove Christian Academy in Rockport.

Glenn was a Vietnam veteran of the Marine Corps having served from 1965-69. He worked at the shipyard in New London, CT as a pipe fitter, later as a driver for Wells Fargo and then as tractor truck driver for Blue Rock Industries.

He was a former member of the Farmington American Legion. He enjoyed camping in the summer and playing cards, especially cribbage and poker.

He is survived by his parents, Albert and Gloria Richard of Leeds; three daughters, Angela Ross and her husband, Troy of Cushing, Gloria Richard of Farmington and Peggy Richard of Avon; brothers, Gerry Richard and his wife, Jessica of Leeds and Ron Richard of Lewiston; grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra, Alexis, Macadez and Cheyenne.

Memorial graveside services will be held, 2 p.m., Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Byron Cemetery in Phillips. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service & Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington. Words of condolence may be sent to wilesfuneralhomes@verizon.net
