Patricia Gail Pond (1971-2009)

WILTON – On or about, Sept. 1, 2009, Patricia Gail Pond, 38, of Wilton, was called home by our Heavenly Father to serve as one of his special angels.

Patricia was born on July 17, 1971, in Farmington. She spent some time as a young girl living in Germany and Texas. Trishia was a 1990 graduate of Mt. Blue High School. She attended Kennebec Valley Technical college earning first her CAN license and then her RN degree in 2007.

Trishia worked in and around the medical profession most of her life. She served as a volunteer with the Wilton Fire Department on the ambulance. Later she earned her EMT and continued working with the Wilton department. She earned her CNA license and worked in that capacity until she earned her RN degree. Trishia worked in several facilities as an RN including Rumford and Franklin Memorial Hospital. Most recently she worked as a home health nurse and an insurance examins.

Trishia was very excited to have graduated from the Police Academy and was eagerly looking forward to possibility of working as a reserve officer.

She is survived by her mother, Penny Pond Toothaker and her partner, Trish Williford; her brother, Tom Pond; her sister, Sarah Williford Emmons, nieces, Bailey Emmons and Ceyenna Emmons; a nephew, Jacob Emmons all of CA; an aunt/mom, Thelma Brown; aunt and uncle Beverly and Richard Griffen of Wilton; great aunts and uncles; numerous cousins, all of ME, NH and VT; very special friends, Rebecca, Clifford and Justin Scott of Weld and many others. She was predeceased by her parents/grandparents, Lenwood and Pat Pond of Wilton; great grandparents, Harvey and Elvie pond of Farmington and lmer and Florence Whitney of Osterville, MA.

A memorial service was held on top of Walker Hill in Wilton and a private family interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton. Words of condolence may be sent via e-mail to info@wilesrc.com.

The loss is a big one for many and she will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched so unselfishly. Via Condios special lady, our love and prayers are always with you.
