Patricia “Pat” DeRaspe Holland (1938-2009)

FARMINGTON – Patricia “Pat” DeRaspe Holland, 70, of Wilton, peacefully left her earthly home on Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington and was immediately welcomed to her heavenly mansion prepared for her by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Patricia was born in Mexico, Maine, on Sept. 3, 1938, a daughter of Hubert and Mary Helen (Young) DeRaspe, who predeceased her. She was married to Ted Holland for 47 years. He died on Dec. 2, 2002, in Tucson, Arizona.

She was also predeceased by four brothers: Albert, Eugene, James, John and infant brother, George; four sisters: Ella Giroux, Georgina Warner, Louise Perry and Alice McLaughlin. She is survived by two sons: John Holland and his wife, Cindy and grandchildren: Christine, Amanda, Brooke, Joshua and Sarah; Jeffrey Holland and his wife, Tracy and grandchildren: Scott and his wife, Sara, and Tiffany; one daughter: Debbie Joseph and her husband, Richard “Rich” Joseph and grandson, Jason Joseph; two
great-grandsons: Shawn Tyler Holland and Jayden Michael Joseph and a sister: Evelyn Arbor.

Public memorial services will be held Saturday morning, Jan. 24, 2009, at 11 AM from the Praise Assembly Church, Andover Rd., Rumford. Following services, a reception will be held in the church.

Those who desire may give gifts in her memory to the Trinity Broadcast Network c/o Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, Maine 04938. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington.
