Paul Thomas Trask (1943-2008)

FARMINGTON – Paul Thomas Trask, 64, of Farmington and Vienna died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center in Farmington.

He was born in Farmington Dec. 25, 1943 the son of Kenneth H. and Frances J. (Clark) Trask. He was educated in the schools of Farmington graduating from Farmington High School in 1962 and then attended Husson College. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army he worked for and then co-owned the Coca Cola Bottling Co. in Farmington which was started by his grandfather Cassius Clark in 1922. He was a member of The Vienna Historical Society serving as president from 1987-1996. He was also a member of The Maine Masonic Lodge #20 in Farmington, and served as president of the Vienna Cemetery Association and was a long time Grange member. Paul enjoyed flea markets, antiques, genealogy, and reading the history of small towns in Maine.

Paul is survived by two sisters Barbara Luce and her husband Jonathan of Farmington and Rachel Harvey and her husband Bruce of Cape Elizabeth, a brother Allan Trask of Farmington, three nieces Jennifer Sweet, Trisha and Sarah Harvey, and two nephews Christopher and Joshua Sweet. He was predeceased by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at the Vienna Church on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Paul requested no flowers please. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make donations in Paul’s memory to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Road, Farmington, Maine 04938.
