Richard A. Frey (1952-2008)

FARMINGTON – Richard A. Frey of Industry, formerly of the Augusta area, a local magician who performed under the name of “Richard Bowie,” passed away suddenly on Friday, July 25, 2008 at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Farmington, of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 13, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Joseph C. and Sue F. (Whitacre) Frey. His lifelong dream as a teenager was to live and work in Maine. He was a cook at the Irving’s Big Stop on Rtes. 2 & 4, Farmington. He leaves behind his mother, Sue Whitacre; two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held in East Longmeadow, Mass., at a later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in his memory to the American Heart Assoc., PO Box 3049 Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
