  3. To Shirley’s family,

Shirley was a true friend for over 60 years. I will miss her more than words can say. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and could make me laugh regardless of circumstances. She was a kind, caring, thoughtful lady who would always find goodness in a person when no one else could. She faced her illness with courage and grace, and even to the end never lost her sense of humor. Shirley will be greatly missed by all, and what a blessing it was to have her as my friend for so many years.
