Just a thought: As I sit here listening to John Boehner’s “disappointment” at the passage of the Stimulus/Spending bill, I have a suggestion for how we could help him feel better.

The final “signing statement” (of the type Bush was so fond of creating) should specify that NONE of the OBJECTING members of Congress are required to take any stimulus money for their states. That way the constituents in those states could actually speak out on how THEY feel about the bill. Wouldn’t that be something to hear?
