I met Janet during my first term in the Legislature, and we have become good friends and strong supporters of one another. I’ve come to really respect Janet over the years – of course her resume and life experience are impressive, and her work ethic is top notch.
There have been issues where we are on opposite sides, and I always prefer those times we are on the same side. She is a tough fighter and a smart strategist; and she uses all of that to do what she truly believes is best for Maine.
