Letter to the Editor: Mary Frank for county treasurer

2 mins read

People of Franklin County,  listen up! We are in luck; running for Franklin County treasurer is a well-informed, ethical, capable and intelligent candidate. Her name is Mary Frank, and I hope I can speak for others when I say that this candidate will work hard to diligently serve the people of our county.

I have been fortunate to work with Mary Frank professionally, and I also know of her character personally. Mary lives her life with high morals and values, and she expects the some of others. She is detail oriented and thorough. Her organizational skills are unparalleled.

Mary’s vast background in finance is extensive and speaks volumes about her abilities regarding the very important job of Franklin County treasurer. She has owned businesses, been entrusted with the finances of others’ businesses, and has served on numerous committees as financial advisor/overseer.

In Washington, D.C., she was an Intelligence Analyst with the Dept. of Justice D.E.A. She has conducted private investigations of small businesses in the D.C. area, and also has been a volunteer member of local organizations such as the Fairbanks School Neighborhood Association, the United Way, Farmington Warming Centers, local 4-H and the Lions Club.

Mary Frank possesses a wealth of attributes and experience essential to lead Franklin County as treasurer. I would be extremely comfortable knowing we had someone like Mary Frank running the finances of Franklin County.

Thank you,
Gary Oswald
