MMCM founders Yuri Funahashi, piano, and Laurie Kennedy, viola, will be joined by violinist Charles Dimmick and cellist Leo Eguchi. The program consists of Zoltan Kodaly’s Duo for Violin and Cello and Gabriel Fauré’s Piano Quartet in C minor. Adult tickets are $15, those 18 and under are free as are UMF students with ID. ArtsFarmington Presents: Buttonwood Trio Press Release – August 7
Emery Community Arts Center at the University of Maine at FarmingtonArtsFarmington is pleased to present a Benefit Concert by the newly formed Buttonwood Trio playing works by Fauré and Babajanian. Admission is by donation, with all proceeds going to Ukrainian humanitarian relief. The concert will be August 7 at 3:00 pm in the Emery Community Arts Center at the University of Maine at Farmington. This will be the debut concert for the Buttonwood Trio. It consists of three old friends and former Maine college music professors who joined together in retirement to launch this new ensemble. Bjorn Auditorium at Mt. Blue High School 129 Seamon Rd, Farmington, ME, United StatesArtsFarmington is pleased to bring Theater at Monmouth’s Shakespeare in Maine Communities Tour to Farmington. This project is part of Shakespeare in American Communities, a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. True to their mission of entertaining and educating they will perform Shakespeare’s comedy, As You Like It, for students of Mt. Blue High School, and the Farmington Middle School on Friday, October 21st.
