Saddleback Maine offers discounted lift tickets to Maine state workers

RANGELEY – Saddleback Maine is offering State Worker’s Appreciation Days on three furlough days for Maine state employee this ski season. On February 12 and March 12, Maine state employees can purchase $35 lift tickets.

“This winter will be especially hard for our state employees and we want to provide a way they can benefit from their furlough days and go have some fun,” said Warren Cook, CEO and general manager of Saddleback.

State workers can also take advantage of discounted Saddleback’s Learn to Ski or Ride package for only $49. The package includes a 2-hour lesson, full-day rental package of ski or snowboard equipment, and a South Branch Lift Ticket which includes almost four miles of the best beginner terrain on the East Coast. Reservations are required to insure instructor availability. Those who choose to purchase two days, for only $118 get the third day for free. State employees can choose which days to come this season as long as the first day is a furlough day. Second and third days include an adult group lesson, all day rental and upgradable South Branch lift ticket.

Saddleback has lodging packages starting at $69.00 per person per night plus tax and a booking fee (two night minimum). Not available on the Feb 12, 2010 (President’s Day weekend). To reserve, call the reservations line at 877-864-5441.
