  1. Nice! What were the circumstances? Ms. Bryant must have used a telephoto lens. Where was it taken, etc? I feel like I could stroke the feathers. [And probably get wounded in the process.]

  2. Must be the same owl that I got a (poor quality) picture of while it was sitting in the maple tree on my front lawn two weeks ago. It hung around for about 10 minutes, probably hanging around because we feed the birds… looking for an easy meal of Blue Jay or Chickadee (or, I wish, the red squirrel). My husband saw one in a tree on the Town Farm Road two days before it landed in our tree. Seems to be hanging close to our areas. Thanks for sharing, beautiful picture.
