Maine’s Paper & Heritage Museum: Yard Sale and Model Train Display!
Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum 22 Chuch Street, Livermore Falls, ME, United StatesMaine's Paper and Heritage Museum will be open Saturday, September 24 from 10am to 2pm for tours and a special display of two model trains gifted to the museum. A huge yard sale will also be held to help raise money to match a $20,000 Historic Preservation Grant recently received by the museum for building repairs. Lunch of chili or meatballs from noon to 1pm. Lunch and museum is by donation. Can't make it Saturday? Museum is open anytime by appointment. Just call Greg at 897-3157.
4th Annual Papermaker’s Heritage Celebration

Free tours of the museum all day with lunch from 11:30 to 1pm. Paper making demonstrations and make your own sheet of paper all day. HUGE yard sale from 9 to 2. Come celebrate and help us raise money to match a $25,000 Historic Preservation Grant received in August 2022.

There will be a special museum exhibit of memorabilia from the Livermore Falls High School Class of 1967! Lunch of barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs and dessert from noon to 1 pm. Event is by donation. Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum is a non-profit, volunteer organization. All donations go toward museum repairs and operating costs. Tours available anytime by appointment. They will have model trains on display. We will also have a special exhibit featuring a model train crafted by Ralph Smith of Jay, generously donated to the museum. In addition to learning more about trains, come tour the museum and check out our Yard Sale! Event is free, but donations are appreciated as we raise funds to repair the museum roof and continue operations!
Paper Making Heritage Community Celebration!

Events include museum tours, hands on paper making demonstrations, Riley family history presentation by Will Riley at 11 AM (Edwin Riley, Will’s great grandfather was the first manager of the Paper Mills built in the area which were incorporated with others to become International Paper Corporation), initial presentation of a model of the Riley Mansion crafted and donated to the museum by Robert Shink, garage sale and lunch of hot
