This year’s Revels will be headlined by the return of Randy Judkins aka "Judd the Jester”. Randy has been performing to Maine audiences for many years. He is Chief Entertainment Officer of the Maine Hysterical Society whose mission is “to Preserve, promote and provoke laughter." Randy has appeared in a handful of television commercials and independent films in Maine. David Mallett’s most recent release, Celebration (2016), is a 10 song collection with themes ranging from resilience to despair to the boundless promise of a new generation. Known for writing songs like the Garden Song, recorded by Pete Seeger and John Denver, Mallett, a Maine native, wrote and recorded in Nashville in the 80s. His songs were recorded by Marty Stuart, Hal Ketchum, Emmylou Harris, Kathy Mattea, Allison Kraus, and others. Vienna Union Hall 5 Vienna Mountain Road, Vienna, METhe Vienna Union Hall announced the Katahdin Valley Boys one of Maines’s premiere bluegrass bands will return to the Vienna Union Hall, May 21, 2022 at 7 PM. The group plays traditional bluegrass music throughout the State of Maine and New England area. The band consists of four members who all rotate singing lead and provide beautiful, tight, harmonies and smooth solos. The Katahdin Valley Boys were honored as recipients of the “Bluegrass Band of the Year” award for 2012 by The Maine Country Music Association and in 2008, 2009 and 2011 by the Maine Academy of Country Music.
