FARMINGTON – Titcomb Mountain in West Farmington is finishing up a wonderful season with a number of events in March. As of March 2, we have received over 95 inches of snow this season and our alpine slopes and Nordic trails have great conditions.

Farmington Ski Club’s Annual Downhill Dummy Competition is being postponed from Saturday March 7 until Saturday, March 14 due to a scheduling conflict. The event will start on Saturday, March 14 at 1 pm with judging of the “dummies” for two categories, originality and workmanship. The downhill portion of the event will start at 2 pm and the participants will be judged on longest distance, most spectacular crash, jump distance and jump crash.

The annual Might Raffle Drawing will still be this Saturday, March 7. This is a major fundraiser for the club and offers some great prizes including $1,000 grand prize, combined season pass at Titcomb Mountain, skis from Ski Depot, Jay, mountain bike from Northern Lights, Farmington, Saddleback Mountain lift tickets and much more. Tickets may be purchased at the lodge and are only $10 each or three for $25.

Our hours during this week are: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 3 pm to 6 pm and Wednesday from 3 pm to 8 pm. On the weekends, Titcomb Mountain will be open for regular hours, from 9 am to 8 pm on Saturdays and 9 am to 4 pm on Sundays. In addition, this is the final week of many of our children’s programs.
