Beginning Digital Photography offered through MSAD 58 Adult & Community Education

This class is designed for beginning photographers using their own digital cameras. The class will consist of lessons, activities and discussions about photography techniques and concepts. Based on each week’s lesson, a ‘shooting assignment’ and image critique will help students learn by doing. The class will cover basic technical information about the process of shooting, editing and sharing your images with an emphasis on composition and creativity.

Prerequisites: Student will need a digital camera; any digital camera from a point-and-shoot type to a digital SLR will be fine. Weekly shooting/editing assignments will require students to have access to a (desktop or laptop) computer at home or work and students need to possess solid basic computer skills.
