FARMINGTON – Don’t miss The Acts of the Apostles: A Maine Retelling, a special film project by the Sunday School kids of Old South First Congregational Church, UCC, in Farmington. The film recounts the exciting—and often harrowing—experiences of the friends of Jesus following his resurrection, as told from the perspective of a 21st century Maine resident, culminating with the formation of the early church. The one-hour movie, starring the Sunday School kids and featuring a soundtrack by local musicians, will premier Sunday, September 10, at 6 p.m., in the Lincoln Auditorium on the UMF campus. The free event will include a simple, celebratory reception following the film.
