RANGELEY – The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will host a Student Music Recital at the Lakeside Theater on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
More than 30 local students will be performing, both those taking private lessons and those involved in the Instrumental program at RLRS, showcasing their progress this year on piano, voice, drums, strings, and other musical instruments.
The performers are students of local music professionals Erin Smith, Sue Downes-Borko and Victor Borko. The RFA financially supports each student taking lessons locally in music in two ways: by the admission fees collected for RFA events all year long, and by a grant from the Maine Community Foundation and the Davis Family Foundation.
The RFA is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation whose mission is to bring the arts to life in the Rangeley Lakes Region. For more information on their activities, visit www.rangeleyarts.org
