Saddleback hires new finance director

RANGELEY – Greg Andrews has been hired as the new controller and director of finance at Saddleback Maine. In this new role, Andrews will ensure that Saddleback is adequately funded for its next growth phase, help evaluate and integrate new ventures into the organization such as Saddleback’s new marina in Oquossoc Cove, and manage accounting, human resources, IT and the ticket department.

“Greg is a great addition to our staff,” said Warren Cook, CEO and general manager of Saddleback. “He has over 30 years of experience working with a broad range of Internet, retail and manufacturing companies as CFO and COO, and will raise the bar on our budgeting and accountability across the board. I am confident he will help us manage costs while maintaining the unique experience and excellent customer service that people have come to expect from Saddleback.”

Andrews’ background includes playing key roles at a diverse array of companies including Information Please, Pro CD, Cambridge SoundWorks, and Boston Acoustics. In each case, he joined the company in its start-up phase and managed finance, human resources and administration during high growth years. Andrews is also the founder, owner and editor of The SnowSource General Store, an online shop for cabin furnishings, ski and snowshoe furniture, sleds and other snow toys.

Andrews holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and a BA in Economics from Colby College.
