FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce is holding a public Legislative Candidate Forum and Breakfast 7 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24 in the North Dining Hall at the University of Maine Farmington.
The Chamber has invited gubernatorial candidates as well as state senate and representative candidates, and county candidates to a question and answer forum. All candidates will present a five to 10-minute presentation on their platform beliefs, followed by questions from the audience.
Elliot Cutler, candidate for governor, has confirmed his participation in the forum as well as confirmation at this time from most of the state and local candidates. The public is invited to attend. Chamber members and one guest are admitted free; the cost for non Chamber members is $10. Please call the Chamber at 778-4215 to reserve a seat.
