FARMINGTON – University of Maine at Farmington Athletics is pleased to announce a new multi-year partnership with University Credit Union (UCU).

UCU has been serving the University of Maine community since 1967 and serves approximately 19,000 members who are all employees, students, and alumni of the University System. They have a long history of providing support to the University System and are pleased to be able to extend that support to UMF and the Athletics Department.

UCU opened a branch on High Street in Farmington adjacent to UMF in August of 2007. Since the opening they have contributed much support to the University of Maine at Farmington, such as recently sponsoring the installation of a flat-screen TV in the fitness center.

“It is with great enthusiasm that University Credit Union supports the University of Maine at Farmington Athletics Program,” said Matt Walsh, president/CEO of UCU. “2009 marks the first year of this new partnership and UCU is looking forward to a successful partnership for many years to come.”
