FARMINGTON – Forty years after the first class to graduate from the new Mt. Blue High School facility marched into the gymnasium to receive their diplomas, approximately 45 members reunited at the Titcomb Mountain Ski Lodge on Aug. 7 to celebrate and reconnect. The reunion committee prepared a memorial board with pictures of 18 deceased classmates and another board with senior pictures of all classmates. A cake with a cougar proudly displayed was provided to complement the food prepared by C & T Catering of Farmington on tables decorated with the school colors.
Classmates came from as far away as Washington state and Texas and as close as walking distance to attend this reunion. It was a busy evening with 1960’s era music provided by classmate Gordon Goldsmith. Plans are already underway for a 45th reunion as all agreed 10 years was too long to wait to gather together again.
The group photograph was taken by Jamie Knowles, the son of classmate Beth Lake Knowles.
