FARMINGTON – Waiting in a long line to be weighed before the Lawn and Garden Tractor Pull, one young driver takes a nap in the warn sunshine on the opening day of the 169th annual Farmington Fair.
A good-sized line up of cars continued to pour through the gates at the Farmington Fairgrounds at 1 p.m. today under sunny skies and warm temperatures. The fair continues through Saturday, Sept. 26. Demonstrations, displays, vendors, para mutual racing, farmers’ ox pull at 4 p.m., and the Miss Farmington Fair pageant is 6:30 p.m. tonight.
