Sandy River Festival celebrates river recreation today

STRONG – Chip Cochran and Milt Baston, at top, demonstrate canoe poling at the Sandy River Festival today. The third annual festival runs today to 5 p.m. at the American Legion Field in Strong. Fishing, swimming, inner tube race, fly fishing, log rolling, canoe relay, Ranger Rick are among the activities.
