On Saturday at Titcomb Mountain Ski Area in West Farmington, a good opening day crowd of skiers and snowboarders took advantage of great snow conditions provided by both mother nature and a hardy group of volunteer snowmakers. Skiing should be great again Sunday, and even better on Monday if tomorrow’s predicted storm delivers another foot of the promised white stuff. Titcomb Mountain will be open every day except Christmas through the holiday vacation, so bring your boards or rent some there and see how it has earned its reputation as Maine’s friendliest and most affordable ski mountain.
