Farmington Historical Society holding 6th annual wreath sale

UMF’s Alpha Phi Omega sorority’s service project was to help decorate almost 300 wreaths with Farmington Historical Society members last year. The sleigh pictured was made by the B.F. Watson company, one of 18 sleigh and carriage makers  in Farmington.

FARMINGTON – The Farmington Historical Society will be holding its 6th annual holiday wreath sale. The quality, balsam wreaths have sold out in the past few years, so early orders are encouraged.

Several items are being added this year to make holiday decorating exciting and convenient. New this year are barn wreaths, a large 36 inch balsam wreath decorated with bow, cones and red berries for $38. Also, a mantel piece, which is 28 inches of mixed greens, red berries and cones for $23, balsam garland in 30 feet lengths at $32 and window or door arch of mixed greens and cones for $24.

The standard 24 inch wreath is double sided and decorated with a quality 6 loop bow in your choice of color-red, brick or burgundy, berries and white tipped cones. These wreaths are fresh and fragrant. Shipping within the continental US is $15

The sale will take place at the Titcomb House, home of the Farmington Historical Society’s museum on Academy St. on Sat. Nov. 27th and Chester Greenwood Day, Sat. Dec. 4th from 9-3pm. Special orders for the large wreaths, mantle pieces, garland and window arches much be ordered and prepaid by Nov. 17th.
