WILTON – Irv Faunce, candidate for the Maine House of Representatives, announced today that he has submitted more 60 Qualifying Contributions to the Maine Ethics Commission and has been certified as a Clean Election Candidate for the coming campaign for House District 90.

“I was pleased to gather contributions from every town in the district,” Faunce said, “as I went out to meet voters in Temple, Avon, Phillips, Strong, Wilton and New Vineyard. Since December, I have also been getting out to Selectmen and Planning Board meetings in these communities as I acquaint myself with local officials and get to know important local issues.”

As a Clean Election Candidate, Faunce will receive financial support from the Maine Clean Elections Fund in return for a pledge to not raise money privately.

“With voter support, I will be able to take my seat in the Legislature without a single special interest contribution. My priority will be determined by what is best for my constituents and for the State of Maine,” he said.

A Selectman in Wilton, Faunce, along with his wife Jan Collins, owns and operates the Wilton Blueberry Farm.
