OAKLAND – The American Kennel Club® is pleased to announce the continued running of Responsible Dog Ownership Day (AKC RDO Day).

A nationwide initiative in its sixth year, AKC RDO Day engages dog-related organizations across the country to educate the public about the importance of being a responsible dog owner and celebrate the deep bond between humans and their canine companions.

In honor of the day, the Tri-County Obedience Club will hold an event on Sunday, Oct. 5 at the I-95 Event Center located at 895 Kennedy Memorial Drive in Oakland, Maine from 10am-4pm. The event will include AKC Canine Good Citizen® testing, free brochures, giveaways, raffles & baked goods for sale. Go to:  http://www.tcoc.4t.com
