Tom Saviello (R-Wilton) and Rep. Russell Black (R-Wilton) welcomed SPC Joe Whalen to the State House Complex in Augusta. Whalen has been serving in Afghanistan for one year as part of the 27th Engineer Battalion Airborne, based out of Ft. Bragg. He is currently home on leave. The legislators from Wilton invited Whalen and his parents to the State House to meet with Gov. Paul LePage to thank him for his dedicated service to his country.
