SugarWood Gallery’s open house Friday, Saturday

FARMINGTON – SugarWood Gallery welcomes Joyce Dubay of New Vineyard and her art class as “Artists of the Month for April”at their Broadway Gallery in Farmington.

Dubay is a native Mainer who has been an art instructor at MSAD 9 Adult Ed for a number of years. This exhibit is of her current students accomplishments. Their work is a variety of drawing, oil painting, watercolor, and mixed media.

Dubay works in several media and many subjects, always in a realistic style. She is well known for doing many animal paintings. She does commission work and will work on location.

She has been drawing all of her life and has been painting over 40 years, winning many awards along the way.

Her work is also on display at the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce building in Farmington.

An Open House to introduce Dubay, her students, and their work will be Friday, April 3 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday April 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited.
