TEMPLE – The Temple Historical Society has designed and produced a 2010 calendar which shows many old time photos of places and people and things of Temple. The calendar recognizes 12 sponsors, one for each month. The calendars are $10 each if you pick it up or $13 mailed. Call Belle Foss (778-3173) or email Melanie Farmer at melanie.farmer@gmail.com to find out where you can get one, as several people are selling them.
The money raised from calendar sales will be used toward producing a Temple Pictorial History book, which, hopefully will be completed in time for the Farmington Fair in September, where we will be having an open house in the Historical Society space. If anyone would like to help on this project or join the organization, please come to a meeting or call Melanie Farmer 899-9995. We meet the third Monday of the month at the Temple Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
