FARMINGTON – On Monday, March 7, the Mt. Blue Music Department and Mt. Blue Music Boosters will be hosting
the 79-member University Singers from University of Maine, Orono under the direction of Dr. Dennis Cox.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the UMF Nordica Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
On Tuesday morning, March 8th the University Singers will be giving a special performance for the Mt. Blue High School students in the school’s auditorium. That concert will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 9:15 a.m.
Included in the concert repertoire will be a wide variety of choral music ranging from Renaissance to Beethoven to more contemporary composers. Also included in the concert will be special performances by the all-male, Maine Steiners
and the Renaissance all-female vocal ensemble.
