FARMINGTON – Registrations are now being accepted for a Heartsaver CPR course being offered at Franklin Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 8, from 5-8 p.m. in the Hospital’s Bass Room.
The Heartsaver CPR course will follow the standards and guidelines for CPR from the American Heart Association and is designed for the general public. It will include information on basic cardiac life support techniques for adults, children, and infants, as well instruction on automated external defibrillators.
This course is video-based and students actively practice the skills listed in the student workbook. There is a $45 fee for the course, which includes the cost of the textbook, class, and course completion card. For more information or to register, contact Amanda Brown at 779-2381.
