FARMINGTON – Effective April 1, an organizational change will take place with Evergreen Child Development Center as it becomes part of Franklin Memorial Hospital and its Franklin Health medical practices. The center will become Franklin Health Child & Adolescent Developmental Pediatrics and its new telephone number will be 779-2168.

The center has been and will continue to provide evaluation and treatment services for children and teens with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, attentional difficulties and attention deficit disorder, anxiety disorders, and school and behavior problems. Dr. Iris Silverstein, Sandy Richard, RN, and a licensed clinical social worker will continue to provide the services that have been offered since the center’s inception in 2008.

The Evergreen Child Development Center accepts all insurances—including Anthem BC/BS—and that will continue as the center becomes part of Franklin Health.

“There will be no gap in coverage,” said Leslie Hawkins, Franklin Health Administrator. “Please be assured that services will continue uninterrupted.”

As a final reminder, the offices have relocated into temporary space next to its former offices due to the January 30 fire in the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center. Staff hope to be back in their original space in six to nine months. Designated parking for patients remains behind the Mt. Blue Health Center.
