Healthy Community Coalition program is free for the first six months.

FARMINGTON – Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) now offers HealthWorks, a comprehensive worksite wellness program available to local businesses throughout Greater Franklin County. Programs offered through HealthWorks include on-going employee health risk assessments (HRAs), one-on-one health coaching, and a variety of wellness initiatives via education and policy improvement.

“Given the current state of economic uncertainty, businesses are investing in the quality of their workforce by focusing on reducing medical spending, absenteeism, and workers’ compensation expenses,” said Waylon Wolfe, HCC Worksite Wellness Marketing and Development Specialist. “Worksite wellness programs help both large and small businesses improve the health and well-being of their employees which in turn helps to improve productivity and profits.”

Through a grant from the Office on Woman’s Health, HCC is able to offer HealthWorks free of charge for the first six months. This affords area businesses the opportunity to experience first-hand the benefits provided by this low-cost comprehensive worksite wellness program.

Healthy Community Coalition (HCC) is an affiliate of Franklin Community Health Network with a mission to measurably improve the health and well-being of all people in Franklin County and neighboring towns using a coordinated approach of education, health promotion and outreach.
