Isaac Ball joins Franklin Health Orthopaedics

FARMINGTON – Physician assistant Isaac Ball, PA-C, has joined the medical staff of Franklin Health Orthopaedics and Franklin Memorial Hospital, according to Leslie Hawkins, administrator for Franklin Health, a multi-specialty group practice. Ball assumed his new position on August 3.

Ball recently received his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of New England in Portland. Prior to that he completed his bachelor’s degree in community health from the University of Maine at Farmington.

Ball has performed clinical rotations in orthopaedics: assisting in pre-, intra- and post-operative care of orthopaedic patients, as well as assisting in casting and splinting of sprains and fractures. Before attending the University of New England, Ball worked as a physical therapy aide, assisting in the management of patient rehabilitation.

Franklin Health Orthopaedics provides a full range of orthopaedic services including arthroscopy and fracture care, as well as joint reconstruction, sports medicine, and rehabilitation services. Isaac Ball joins orthopaedic surgeons Dr. Nancy Cummings and Dr. Carmen Crofoot to its team of clinicians.
