Skin disorders and treatment next Prescriptions for Health Topic April 6

FARMINGTON – What are the different kinds of skin cancer? Why does psoriasis improve with light therapy? When is Accutane appropriate for acne treatment?

These questions and more will be answered during the Wednesday, April 6, “Prescriptions for Health” presentation featuring Dr. Joshua Sparling. The event will take place from 6–7:15 p.m. in the Chisholm Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital. The presentation is part of Franklin Memorial Hospital’s monthly community health information series that is free and open to the public.

This interactive program will highlight information about skin cancer prevention and treatment, the three types of skin cancer, psoriasis treatment with light therapy, acne treatments, and more.

Dr. Sparling is the lead physician at Franklin Health Dermatology in Farmington and is board-certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Franklin Health Dermatology offers treatment for a full range of dermatological conditions affecting those of all ages.
