FARMINGTON – A local man has been charged with unlawful sexual touching after a house guest told police she had been inappropriately touched.

Damien Lee, 19, of Farmington, was arrested on Jan. 21 by Farmington Police Department Officer Darin Gilbert, following a brief investigation. Lee has been charged with unlawful sexual touching, a Class D misdemeanor.

According to FPD Detective Marc Bowering, an 18-year-old female told police she had been staying at an apartment on High Street, rented by Lee and a roommate. She reportedly told investigating officers that Lee committed the crime of unlawful sexual touching while she was in bed.

“He sexually assaulted her, by touching her inappropriately,” Bowering said.

Lee was arrested by Gilbert and transported to Franklin County Detention Center by Officer Michael Adcock on Jan. 21. He was released the day on a $1,000 unsecured bond. His next court date has been scheduled for Feb. 18.
