FARMINGTON – Police say they have recovered electronics taken from a Fairbanks Road home in early Janurary, charging a local man with receiving stolen property.

Phillip Rose, 33, of Farmington, has been charged with the felony receiving stolen property, a Class C crime, and violating the terms of his probation.

According to Farmington Police Department Detective Marc Bowering, a 42-inch flatscreen television and stereo system had been taken from a residence on the Fairbanks Road earlier in the month of January. Bowering and Lt. Jack Peck investigated the theft, arresting Rose on Jan. 19.

Bowering said that the electronics had been taken out of an apparently unlocked residence, and that Rose and the victim had not known each other. The TV and stereo system were recovered during the course of the investigation.
