Second suspect in stolen vehicle case arrested

WATERVILLE – A man wanted in connection with multiple vehicles taken from residences in Temple and Farmington was arrested at a residence in Waterville this morning, according to Lt. Niles Yeaton of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

Robert Charles Lacroix, 22, of Winslow, was apprehended by members of the Waterville Police Department. Lacroix was wanted on a Franklin Superior Court warrant stemming from the report of five stolen vehicles in Farmington and Temple and a reported burglary at Rick’s Market in Dryden, during the night of Oct. 19 and into the early morning hours of Oct. 20.

Lacroix has been charged with passing a roadblock, a Class C crime and theft by unauthorized use of property, a Class D crime. Detective Thomas White of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department transported Lacroix from Waterville to the Franklin County Jail in Farmington, to be processed.
